California's LA Ballet brings "New Beginnings" into their spring repertoire at venues across Los Angeles.

Los Angeles will be graced with some of Balanchine and Bournonville's greatest works in ballet during Los Angeles Ballet's Spring Repertoire. Artistic Directors Thordal Christensen and Colleen Neary announced LAB's (Los Angeles Ballet) latest performance tour in and around the LA area last February 21.

George Balanchine and August Bournonville were astounding choreographers and leaders in dance in their own time – Balanchine in the 1970s and 80s, Bournonville in the late 1800s, and LAB presents a combination of the two remarkable minds in ballet through such ballets as Agon, Concerto Carocco and Napoli, Pas de Six and Tarantella.

Both Artistic Directors of LAB come from backgrounds of dance and the ballet world that enable them to exclusively stage these ballets of Balanchine and Bournonville. Thordal Christensen states that “These ballets will really showcase our dancers and their ability to perform complex works in addition to such annual favorites as The Nutcracker".

Tickets for "New Beginnings" are available by calling (310) 998-7782 or by visiting www.losangelesballet.org. Single ticket sales range from $35 to $95.
