A short dance film produced, directed, choreographed, filmed and essentially created in Vancouver comes to light up the International Film Festival screens!

Two Story Productions, based out of Vancouver B.C., is proud to present an outstanding short dance film featuring Barbara Glazar – choreographer, dancer and creative producer of the film Wearing the Unknown. An official selection of the Vancouver International Film Festival 2006, it will be screened in "Diagrams for Space and Time" on Tuesday October 3 at Pacific Cinematheque and Thursday October 5 at Vancity Theatre.

Wearing the Unknown was collectively and creatively produced by ballet and contemporary dancer Barbara Glazar, produced by Paul Armstrong and Tara Hungerford of Two Story Productions with music by Ian Widgery.

This film, "Wearing the Unknown" was also a Bravo!FACT Grant recipient, and was filmed at Storyeum in Vancouver's Gastown and waterfront areas. Dubbed "a visual poem of a dancer who goes to the edge and accepts the unknown", Wearing the Unknown is a sure-shot artistic film of beautiful lines and movement. Having trained and danced with The National Ballet School (Canada), John Cranko Schule, The Stuttgart Ballet, Ballet BC, The Chimera Project, Baden State Theatre and numerous independent dance companies and choreographers, Glazer offers movements that are inspiring and artistically aesthetic. With over 20 years of arts training and professional experience, she began to pursue creating works for film, video and performance by co-founding BLUR with Ryan James, an architectural designer. Be sure to look out for their performance films to come!
