New production of classic Cinderella by the American Ballet Theatre ran from June 2-June 15, 2006.


The classic fairy tale of a deprived young girl turned glamourous princess takes a new turn in the American Ballet Theatre production of Cinderella. In this all-new production to the 2006 ABT season in partnership with the Metropolitan Opera, the delightful contemporary ballet choreography is inspired by Prokofiev's modern score. Delighting dance is combined with playful and humourous act and was certainly a delight for both the young and old. The acclaimations of this production will surely guarantee a return to the ABT and Metropolitan Opera season line-ups.
