An Evening of Balanchine

From May 24 - June 2, the Los Angeles Ballet will be giving its tribute to one of ballet's greatest choreographers - George Balanchine.


The Los Angeles Ballet's summer program returns with "An Evening of Balanchine", back by popular demand.

Celebrating Balanchine's artistic life, The LA Ballet has strategically chosen three ballets portraying three different moods through his original choreography - Serenade, Apollo and Rubies.

Performances take place May 24 and May 25 (7:30 p.m.) at UCLA's Freud Playhouse; June 2 (7:30 p.m.) at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center and May 26 (7:30 p.m.) at the Alex Theatre, Glendale. Annual subscriptions are available from $59.50 to $161.50 and single ticket sales range from $35 to $95.
