Toronto Dance Theatre premieres Chiasmata March 27-31, 2007 at Harbourfront Centre's Premiere Dance Theatre.
This latest creation of Artistic Director Christopher House, Chiasmata is a collaborative effort between Gemini award-winning sound designer Phil Strong, Dora Mavo Moore award-winning designer Cheryl Lalonde and veteran lighting designer Roelof Peter Snippe. Chiasmata takes you through a strange and beautiful journey through time, space and the portals of memory. Ever since Chrisrpoher House's coronation to be Artisitc Direcot of the TDT (Toronto Dance Theatre) in 1994, he has transformed the company to be known for its fresh, intelligent and provocative dance with productions such as Glass Houses, Four Towers, Early Departures, Vena Cava, Nest, Persephone's Lunch and Sly Verb.
