"A construct of bold movement, industrial soundscape and electric
emotion, SURGE scrutinizes the power of physical industry. Featuring
Day Helesic, Amber Funk Barton and Barbara Glazar, this 30 minute
dancework moves hard and intensely with a constant current of fierce
physicality, taking inspiration from the electric energy of the
performers as they discover what powers them and what gives them
power. Through dogged determination and enduring effort, SURGE
discovers the costs and rewards of that power, in all its
incarnations."
