» meljo45 - Classic or Modern

In recent years, a new modernly revised version of the classical Christmas ballet, the Nutcracker, has been spurring up the Holiday stage.
Holiday tradition often includes picking a Christmas tree, drinking hot chocolate, gift shopping and going to the ballet to watch the classic Nutcracker - this is a sure cure for your Christmas anticipation!
Is it better to keep the Nutcracker as classic as they can? Or would a modern spruce help keep the Nutcracker up with the times?
